Robert P. Biuk-Aghai. PhD (CS), MSc (IS)

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Macau, where I have been working since 1993. Over the years, I have taught a number of subjects, both undergraduate and postgraduate, and supervised several M.Sc. theses and B.Sc. final projects. My main research interest lies in the areas of information visualization and CSCW, and I am one of the founders of the Data Analytics and Collaborative Computing Group (formerly Business Intelligence Group) at my department. I am also the initiator and project lead of the MacauMap (TM) project — a highly popular handheld and web-based tourist map guide system for Macau with over 500,000 downloads between 2003 and 2009.
