[edit] Conclusion

"the online project of Wikipedia is rather successfully in compliance with the copyright laws of not only the USA but also of other countries, the language of which it “speaks” without restraining the freedom of information and attaining what we believe to be the democratic objectives set by the pioneers of the Web. In many respects, credit must be given to the most active participants of the project. The sweeping process of globalization brings national legislation systems closer together. Perhaps the American project of Wikipedia can serve as the basis for reviewing the copyright laws of the Russian Federation concerning the protection of copyrights in the field of advanced communication technologies."
