Natural language processing: The ambiguous nature of natural language raised the need for computational linguistic analysis for the processing of languages in a range of applications. NLP can be applied to the translation of a text into another language, paraphrasing a text, and answering questions about the content of a text. Being a multilingual online encyclopaedia, Wikipedia offers the NLP researchers a semantically enriched data collection.
